Terberg Launches Next‑Generation YT201EV, Expanding Zero‑Emission Leadership
Terberg has announced the global launch of its next‑generation YT201EV, alongside the enhanced YT203EV, marking a significant step forward in zero‑emission terminal tractor solutions.
Unveiled on 5 May during the Terberg Global East & South Distributor Days in Malaysia, the new models reinforce Terberg’s position at the forefront of sustainable shunting operations. The event brought together more than 60 distributors and partners from over 30 countries, alongside celebrations of the 20th anniversary of Terberg Tractors Malaysia.
Designed for Global East and South markets, the next‑generation YT201EV introduces a new engineering architecture focused on performance, reliability, and ease of use. A redesigned cabin enhances visibility and ergonomics, while updates across the platform improve uptime in demanding terminal environments.
Early market response has been strong, with more than 250 units secured ahead of launch.
Both the YT201EV and YT203EV are powered by Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery technology, delivering robust, zero‑emission performance tailored to modern yard operations. The YT201EV is equipped with a 310 kWh battery designed to support multi‑shift operations, with an additional 155 kWh option available for lower‑intensity applications.
Both models are integrated with Terberg Connect telematics, enabling real‑time fleet monitoring and data‑driven optimisation.
